Théo Casciani
Théo Casciani (b. 1995, Paris) is a French author whose writing is presented at the intersection of literature, performance, and the visual arts. He studied humanities and social sciences at Sciences Po and mathematics at the Université Panthéon-Sorbonne in Paris, before joining the contemporary writing program at La Cambre in Brussels, where he now teaches. His texts — translated into several languages and awarded several prizes — have been presented in forms ranging from reading performances to integrated installation at WIELS (Brussels), the Centre Pompidou, the Palais de Tokyo, the Théâtre National de Chaillot, the Beyeler Foundation, KW Institute for Contemporary Art (Berlin), Sadie Coles HQ (London), Lafayette Anticipations, Göteborg Opera, the Kyoto Art Center, and the Musée du Louvre, among others.
His first novel, Rétine, was published by Éditions P.O.L in 2019; English and Polish editions are forthcoming from HELA Press in 2026. His second novel, Insula (P.O.L, January 2026), received the Prix La Perle; UK and Italian editions are due from HELA Press and Castevecchi Editore in 2027.
