Cyrus Goberville

Biography

Cyrus Goberville is a French cultural programmer and music curator based in Paris. He co-founded the independent record label Collapsing Market at the age of twenty, running it from 2014 to 2020 and releasing music across a range of genres while organizing concerts and DJ sets primarily in art spaces and cultural venues in Paris.

He is currently Head of Cultural Programs at the Bourse de Commerce — Pinault Collection, where he designs and directs the musical and performative programming that runs alongside the institution's exhibition program. His method places music in direct relation with the works and themes on view: for the Corps et âmes exhibition in the spring of 2025, he developed a musical program paying tribute to the American filmmaker and artist Arthur Jafa — bringing together Speakers Corner Quartet, DJ Theo Parrish, Morton Feldman, Detroit techno pioneer Robert Hood, and Parisian multidisciplinary artists including Crystallmess in a series of concerts, DJ sets, and performances staged within the museum.

His practice occupies the intersection of contemporary art, electronic music, experimental sound, and cultural production, working across institutional programming and music curation. He also contributes to cultural publications including Numéro.
